I learned how to braze in a small, hot sculpture studio next to a big, hot foundry in the spring of 2011. During which time, I made the armature for the above- (or left-) pictured clip-clop. This skill remained dormant in my thought orb until last night, when in a pierogi haze, it resurfaced. I know what I must do.
Make tubular chassis for scale models of cars I like, duh. Ha, I bet you thought my practical application would be gainful employment as a plumber or something! What an asshole.
Now, I just need a cylinder of MAPP gas, some filler rods and the rods out of which I'll build the chassis. Oh yeah, and some suggestions for models to make, of course.

If you did that, you could probably sell them. I'd buy one.

I'd probably have to really brush up on my brazing before being able to pass a model off for profit.
Although I'm not averse to the idea. Anything to line the old coffers.
